When, and how can I redeem my points?

As soon as you have earned enough points to redeem a reward you desire. Use the Checkout button in your account to visit the Rewards shop to redeem your points via CA$H app, PayPal, or receive an amazon gift card for a minimum of 10,000 points each.

Through the Rewards shop, you can also redeem points for free breakfast (at participating hotels), airport transportation, activity rentals, event tickets, and more.

How can I earn additional points?

  1. To encourage others to visit Haiti, use the Travel Albums button in your account to create an album for each of your trips and earn 500 points per album. Upload a minimum of 5 different photos of your trip (you at the hotel, eating at a restaurant, taking a walk, buying a gift, visiting a tourist attraction, and doing any fun activities).
  2. Use the My Trips button in your account to provide a review of your trips and earn 500 points per review. Think of it as your public trip diary to document all your visits to Haiti. This will help others who wish to travel to Haiti. Provide as much details as possible. Detailed example: (“I took XYZ airline, the flight was awesome, no delays, and ABC hotel picked me up at the airport, my hotel stay was amazing.” “The car rental from EFG was great, the car ran smoothly, and I highly recommend eating at the following restaurants.” “On my way back I purchased a gift at this store and a few gifts at the airport.”

Give your trip a title. Was it for business, pleasure, or both? Then upload a main photo for your trip and click submit to publish.

You will soon be able to earn points by taking travel quizzes, travel surveys, and by giving your opinions on how we can improve travelling to Haiti.

I travel to Haiti a lot. How often can I redeem points?

As often as you like. Visit the Rewards Shop to see what you can redeem base on the amount of available Reward Points. Redeem points for free hotel breakfast, airport transportation, activity rentals, and more. However, each member can redeem a total of 10,000 points for 100 USD per year. We’re working on creating more prizes, gifts, and ‘Made in Haiti’ products as rewards for points earned.

Can I transfer some of my points to another user?

Yes. Click on the Trophy button in your account to transfer points in your account to another user.

Will my points ever expire?

No. Never. In fact, try to accumulate enough points to earn the Gold Traveler status to earn x3 the points for the same activity. Click on the Badges button in your profile to see the different traveler levels.

What is the difference between a Tourist status and a Gold Traveler status?

A Tourist is someone just starting to visit Haiti, while a Gold traveler has visited Haiti on numerous occasions. The more you visit Haiti, the more you’ll earn back. A tourist will earn 1 point for every 1 USD they spend, while a gold traveler will earn 3 points for every 1 USD they spend while visiting Haiti.

Tourist 0 – 9,999 points (1 USD = 1 point)
Silver Traveler 10,000 – 29,999 (1 USD = 2 points)
Gold Traveler 30,000 – 49,999 (1 USD = 3 points)
Platinum Traveler 50,000 – 99,999 (1 USD = 4 points)
Diamond Traveler 100,000+ (1 USD = 5 points)
